Our biggest accomplishment this week was that we collectively moved a mountain of snow which according to the BWI airport set an all-time record of 28.2 inches. Even though we lost a few days preparing for our System Concept Review (SCR), we feel fortunate that the snow did not hit last week during our System Requirements Retreat (SRR). The Systems team has been reviewing and following up on action items, comments, and issues raised in last week's SRR. The systems team continues to work with the various subsystems in further defining the spacecraft and mission concept, including spacecraft mechanical/thermal bus concept, launch vehicle accommodation and ascent scenario, and subsystem implementation design and implementation concepts. In addition, preliminary work has begun in formulating the agenda and outline of materials to be presented at the upcoming SCR to be held April 8-10 at GSFC. Early next week we will distribute a draft SCR agenda/template & a list of draft documents required for the review. We completed the SDO Risk Identification Procedure. This procedure details each step in the SDO Risk Identification process by using flow charts to illustrate the process and information flow. We will be training our leads with this procedure, updating the Risk List, & implementing our Risk Management Review Board process before the SCR. Thanks, Ken
