STATUS/ACCOMPLISHMENTS The Systems team met with SDO subsystems to consolidate all the post-SRR design and configuration changes in order to present the entire package to the systems/subsystems team for review and discussion. Status of recent trades in spacecraft structure, electrical architecture, High Gain Antenna implementation concept, operations concept development, action items, etc, as well as updates to Observatory resources estimates were all addressed. In addition, a peer review of the Subsystem Data Node, a core component of the SDO architecture, was successfully held, allowing identification of actions items and agreement on the prototype design to move on towards the layout and manufacturing phase. In support of the Instrument development effort, the systems team attended the SHARPP Independent Instrument Review and provided technical support in review of the SHARPP instrument concept, implementation design, and development progress. Finally, the systems team and subsystems met as a group to provide a comprehensive review of all risk items in the SDO risk database, followed later by meeting of the SDO Risk Management Board where Risk areas were again reviewed and evaluated before being updated in the risk management system. In others areas, the Project met with AETD management, the GSFC SEC/LWS Program Office, and our Program Exec. to summarize the results of the SDO grassroots cost estimate. The Ground System team successfully conducted a peer review with GSFC ground system experts. For the instruments, we determined the preferred format structure for the instruments high rate data. We continue to prepare for the shutdown of the procurement system by submitting PRs ranging from flight software computers/server/licenses to photo and video equipment.
